Notice to Task Forces
It was unanimously decided during the scientific programming committee (SPC) meeting in Berlin, October 2009, that input and constructive comments from Task Forces to scientific programmes would be welcome and highly appreciated. The SPC would therefore appreciate to receive advice and recommendations for future programmes after each EADV event.
The committee emphasised however that no private group would be allowed into main scientific programmes.
Task Forces which have recently provided input for the Lisbon Congress are asked to note that this will be taken into account in formulating sessions.
The Lisbon SPC programming meeting will take place on 4 and 5 December, 2009. If Task Forces wish to urgently make recommendations, they are welcome to do so until Tuesday 24 November, 2009. Please contact cme-cpd@eadv.org
Advice and recommendations should include
- the content of the material (main theme, title)
- the way in which it is being developed (topics)
- who is developing it (chairpersons, speakers)
- a suggestion on which type of session the material would be most appropriately used (course, workshop, symposium, forum)
The decision on whether the material will be used and in which session it will be used will be the decision of the SPC and the local scientific committee of the event concerned.
