Scottish Dermatology Society Grant
Once a year, the Scottish Dermatology Society (SDS) invites one (1) young EADV member from Eastern Europe to attend their Annual Meeting.
One (1) successful applicant from Eastern Europe will receive free registration to the SDS Annual Meeting on 31 May - 1 June 2012 in Aberdeen, Scotland. The successful applicant will also receive a grant of GBP 750,- kindly provided by the Scottish Dermatology Society.
The successful applicant will be expected to stay for approximately one (1) week, during which time they will travel around three (3) or four (4) dermatological departments throughout Scotland. Accomodation for the visiting dermatologist will preferably be with young Scottish dermatological residents to facilitate collegiality and establish potentially long-lasting friendships.

Albania, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Ukraine.
Criteria for grant application
- Young dermatovenereologists or residents/trainees under 35 years of age
- Must be an EADV member
- Must not have previously received this grant
- Must have adequate knowledge of the English language
- Must have the nationality of a Central or Eastern European country
