Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery is one-on-one the most widely used dermatological technique. It involves the use of subzero temperatures to induce irreversible tissue damage. As little formal training is available, this course will give participants the opportunity to learn basic principles, common and innovative cryosurgical techniques, proper selection of benign, pre-malignant and malignant lesions and use of non-invasive imaging technologies to enhance outcome. Theory will be combined with hands-on sessions. Last but not least, sunny and warm Mediterranean climate will give the opportunity for a pleasant stroll to discover the lovely city of Barcelona.
