To address the fundamental needs of all dermato-venereologists, the Scientific Programming Committee (SPC) has established a renewed programme structure that was initiated, implemented and tested in Valencia. The new format was well-accepted during the Spring Symposium and based on the positive comments received, the new programme structure has been fine-tuned for all future events.
The first major change is the inclusion of three different levels of knowledge or experience: Review and Updates for board certified dermato-venereologists, the Expert Forum – an exchange platform for the most experienced specialists, and the Training and Educational Forum for residents and trainees.
The idea is to firstly select your experience level and then your topic of interest. All topics have been slotted in either full day or half-day tracks in one room. Thus, each track (T1, T2…) has either one single or two topics, one in the morning and a second in the afternoon (such as melanoma, STIs, allergy, etc.).
The topics are presented in a structured way beginning with clinics, dermato-histopathology and epidemiology, moving on to diagnosis, classical and advanced treatment options. Tracks are coloured-coded to simplify the identification of the experience level you are interested in.
